day twelve : bedroom

in an attempt to start shooting regularly again, i’ve come up with a vague idea. this month i’ll be shooting images based on my everyday life. easy enough, right? i don’t even have to go out of my way to get the shots! this week i’m focusing on my home: rooms, activities, stuff, etc. since i want to have a wider range of control of my shots i’ve picked up the old 35mm slr – so there’s the whole, processing & printing timetable as well. remember when 1 hour photos were considered ridiculously fast? what i wouldn’t give for a fancy digital slr right now. anyhow, it’s been so long since i picked my “real” camera up that the roll of film in it was over 14 months old!!! i know because the first 8 pictures are self portraits in a house that i lived in while still in COLLEGE. the first couple of images are from the disk the lab gave me which i’m not entirely taken with – so when i’m ready to wrap all of this up i’ll find a better way to present them. keep in mind the prints are entirely grain & bizarre pixel color-free:
