While you were out…
Dear heavens! It’s really been a week! It’s been quite a busy one. Let’s use the bullet points for the quick recap:
*Friday – First Friday and a couple of competition openings in Old City followed by a movie date w/ the boyfriend to see Slumdog Millionaire. Still waiting and wanting to see Coraline.
*Saturday – Built partition #1 for production. Opening at Studio 27.28 for Kevin Margitich; fell in love with and bought two charming little paintings:

*Sunday – Built partition #2 for production. Played Mario Galaxy. Picked up more furniture for the show. Called out of work.
*Monday – Built door partition, painted & moved all of the furniture and partition pieces to the theater for “load in”. Spent several hours assembling, destroying, and rethinking the set, followed by several hours of Tech rehearsal.
*Tuesday – My real job till 3pm. More set work to get the dang thing up and functional. Followed by 2 tech rehearsals and a run through. Followed by MORE set prep. Home and asleep by 1:30am.
And that just about brings us to TODAY! Tonight are the final dress rehearsals for the opening night tomorrow!!! Tomorrow’s also the boyfriend’s quarter life birthday – which will be celebrated when he crawls home from the US v. Mexico soccer game in Ohio in the wee hours of the morning.
It’s been a whole lot of stressful fast paced fun working with the theater group, but my friends are starting to wonder where I am and my body’s starting to wonder if this sleep deprivation thing is going to be a regular thing or not. A couple of teaser photos from last night’s run through are on the flickr page (of course), and a couple of my favorites are:

=D !!!
